This is a reminder to submit your icons for week 5 to this post. So far we have no participants, which I find incredibly disappointing but I'm not very surprised either, especially after that months-long inactivity fiasco the community was subjected to. I'm hoping people will flock back eventually, so I am going to keep submissions for week 5 up past the deadline. The new deadline has not been decided yet and I won't be sure about it until we get some participants. Please don't forget to submit.

Theme: Community Icon
Design a default icon for lovecom_awards. There are no catches, except the icon must have the community's full name on it somewhere, and it must be legible. Please take your time and do your best for this one. :)

Hey, everyone! I decided not to open up voting for week four because there were too few participants. :( I'm sorry! However, week five's challenge will be revealed shortly. To avoid a repeat of week four, let's have more than three participants this time, yeah? ;D
In the meantime, I have some moderation updates you might want to take note of.

First - I have amended the community profile so it is clearer and more organised. The rules have changed so please make sure you read them! They are relatively generic but I want everyone to read the last rule and obey it! >:| Unless Photobucket is the only thing you can use (why that would be the case, I am not sure), I would really appreciate it if you used something else to host your icons.
Also, I have added a Hall of Fame, and as many of you know, it's an increasingly popular tool in icontest communities. I will be participating in it so as to prevent any domination in the challenges.
I have made a definitive schedule for the community as well. This Sunday I will post the challenge for week five, so keep watching!

I will also bring up a concern I have in regards to banners. I currently make banners for other communities and may need assistance in keeping up with lovecom_awards banners, so please - if think you are halfway decent at making graphics and have some free time this summer, help me out! :P Just comment here and we'll go from there.

Hi, everyone! My name's Misti, and I'll be running lovecom_awards for awhile. aisha_san says she has been too busy as of late to maintain the community, so I hope to get things back on track soon.
That said, I apologise for the terrible inactivity and hope there are still folks interested in participating. I will have everything sorted out soon, but since I still don't have full abilities and thus do not have access to the most recent icon submission, I cannot open up voting for that particular week. I will try to have a new contest up in about two weeks or so, hopefully earlier.
It'd be great to know how many people still want to participate in lovecom_awards and suggestions for contest themes or edits to the community are always encouraged, so please feel free to reply to this entry if you have any inquiries or comments. :) Stay tuned for more activity!

As you might have noticed i haven't updated the com in a couple of weeks. I like this community really much but i'm not able to keep it working how it should alone (considering that our weekly themes are not weekly since i put only every two weeks). I don't have much time since i try to do a lot of things during my vacations... and when i enter to the university on march i'll have even less time. So that's why i'm asking for help to those who have a little time. I'm looking for mods (to think and post themes) and bannermakers (who will make the banners for the weekly winners). Any type of help is welcomed!! Thanks a lot and please help me because i don't want this community to die.

p.d: i wanted to post the votation for week 4 before this one but i'm really busy because i'm going on vacations tomorrow. So when i come back i'll post it... i hope that when i come back i'll have more help T_T.

Week 4: Intrudors

This is about the intrudors in Otani and Risa's relationship. That means you must make icons that feature Mimi, Haruka, Kohori, Seiko or any other character you consider an intrudor. Your icon can also feature Risa or Otani if you like but don't forget the intrudor!! Be creative because i love this theme's idea :).
